Silver and gold | The Demented Ferrets

Hey all, it’s Kern here! So, let’s see… a while back, much earlier this year, I made a fan song and posted it up on YouTube called “Breaking Free”, to tribute Weiss Schnee. I wanted the song to reflect a more upbeat ideology of Weiss breaking free of certain family molds, and sectional ideologies. I wanted it to be light-hearted, powerful, with sweeping vocals and in a power ballad style… I must have bashed my head against creating this thing for like a month and a half before I get it the way I wanted.

The lyrics for this one are simple, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Lyrics:
Verse 1: Born into a legacy, cold as ice, A name carved in stone, paid the price. I was taught to stand tall, to lead with grace, But deep inside, I felt out of place.
