Freezerburn | The Demented Ferrets

Hey everyone, it’s Kern here! I’m coming at you with a RWBY fan song for the Freezer burn pair (Weiss and Yang). These two are amazing, even if they aren’t a canon ship. I hope you enjoy it!

For this song I wanted to do something that sounded a little bit on the lazy/casual side, almost as though the two of them were actually messily singing while sitting on the side of the bed, almost in an “unplanned” style so to speak.

I wanted it to feel like it’s coming off the top of their heads as they’re going along, which is why some or both voices sometimes dips in and out, just like it would if you’ve ever been singing with one of your friends in the car or something, and you know the other person is the better singer…

In that particular moment in the RWBY series, a quiet and profound introspection takes place for Yang and Weiss, and I wanted the song to carry that uneasy tonality along with the comfort of having each other nearby.
